The topic of healthcare is massive with the amount of participants, the importance of health for every individual, the allocation of resources, changing demographics, technology innovations, and many other important inputs that make healthcare a complicated issue. Every person is a participant in the system at some point and for many individuals; it is part of their everyday lives. Due to the importance of healthcare, the stakes are high as every decision has a human impact somewhere and to someone. 1. The Beryl Institute Continues to Build a Large and Knowledgeable Community<\/span><\/h5>\n

By building a community stretching across borders throughout the world, the Beryl Institute, led by President and CEO Jason Wolf PhD., CPXP, is building a network of individuals and organizations willing to take on the cause of patient experience and better care for individuals. This community is now over 55,000 individuals globally. They have also led the way by expanding knowledge within their membership and within healthcare itself. The Beryl Institute launched the Patient Experience Journal (PXJ) as the first open- access journal published on the patient experience. This journal, with over 11,000 articles accessed a month, expands over 200 countries and territories. The Beryl Institute also has a sister organization, the Patient Experience Institute (PXI), which provides professional credentialing and continuing education to help those in healthcare positively impact patients and their family members lives.<\/p>\n

2. Harnessing the Power of Diversity<\/span><\/h5>\n

With a large community that is diverse in expertise, experience, and culture, it allows that community to develop a larger amount of quality solutions.
